The thesis
Most B2B companies treat SEO as a traffic game and outbound as a numbers game. Both are pipeline games. If you do not build them on first principles, you are burning budget.
I keep seeing the same pattern across SEO and outbound engagements: companies invest in SEO that generates traffic but not pipeline, and run outbound that generates sends but not replies. The gap is always the same. No first-principles thinking about what actually moves revenue.
I am currently consulting ClickUp and three other B2B SaaS companies on pipeline-driven SEO and outbound. Before this I led SEO and growth at Databox and Darwinbox, and worked on 50+ B2B SaaS engagements where I learned what scales and what does not.
