Find and verify emails across 7,000+ apps with Zapier

Wire Mailsfinder into any Zap with Webhooks by Zapier. One API key, predictable JSON, and 300,000 credits per cycle on the Monthly plan keep your automations running without hitting the credit walls that Hunter Zaps and Apollo Zaps run into.

Why Mailsfinder + Zapier

Three building blocks for every Zap you ship

A clean Webhooks setup, webhook-driven triggers from Mailsfinder, and Paths routing that handles dirty real-world data.

api

Webhooks by Zapier action

Drop Webhooks by Zapier into any Zap, point a POST request at the Mailsfinder Finder or Verifier endpoint, and pass the API key as a header. Zapier parses the JSON response so every field (email, status, score, source) is mappable to the next step without extra Code by Zapier glue.

webhook

Webhook triggers from Mailsfinder

Mailsfinder can push verification results back to a Catch Hook step the moment a bulk job finishes. Your Zap stays idle until the verdict lands, then fires the downstream actions, so you never pay tasks for a polling loop.

alt_route

Multi-step Zap routing

Use Zapier Paths with a filter on the Mailsfinder status field. Verified leads flow to Lemlist or Smartlead, risky catch-alls land in a Google Sheet for SDR review, and invalid rows drop into a discard log. One field drives every branch.

How it works

From API key to live Zap in under five minutes

No directory app to install, no OAuth dance. Webhooks by Zapier does everything until the native Mailsfinder app lands.

1

Add Webhooks by Zapier

In the Zap editor, add an action step and pick Webhooks by Zapier. Choose POST as the event type, the only Mailsfinder needs for find and verify calls.

2

POST to the Mailsfinder API

Set the URL to the Finder or Verifier endpoint, pass the trigger fields (first name, last name, domain) as JSON, and drop your API key in the Authorization header.

3

Capture the JSON response

Zapier parses the response automatically. The email, status, score, source, and credits_used fields show up as mappable variables in every downstream step.

4

Route by verification status

Add Paths or a Filter on the Mailsfinder status field. Verified leads go to your sender, risky ones to manual review, invalid ones to a discard log. One field drives the whole Zap.

Zap blueprint

A 4-step Typeform Zap that DMs verified leads into Slack

This is the canonical Mailsfinder + Zapier pattern for growth marketers. A Typeform response fires the Zap, Mailsfinder enriches and verifies, and a Slack DM lands in the lead owner's channel before they finish their coffee. Three minutes from copy to first live run.

  • check_circle Single API key on the Authorization header. No OAuth setup, no token refresh logic.
  • check_circle Predictable JSON response with email, status, score, and source fields so Zapier's mapper just works.
  • check_circle Free 100 lookups per day so you can test the full Zap end to end before upgrading.
  • check_circle Built-in Zapier retry handles transient timeouts without dropping the lead.

Zap use cases

Four patterns no-code operators ship every week

Form enrichment, contact verification, prospecting stacks, and customer onboarding signals.

dynamic_form

Typeform enrichment to Slack

Catch a Typeform response, enrich the prospect with Mailsfinder, verify the email, and DM the assigned AE inside Slack with a one-line summary. The whole Zap finishes in under three seconds end to end.

verified

HubSpot new contact verification

Every new HubSpot contact triggers a Mailsfinder Verify call. Verified emails get a "deliverable" tag, risky ones drop into a manual review list, and invalids get flagged on the record so the next sequence skips them.

hub

LinkedIn to Lemlist stack

Export from LinkedIn Sales Navigator into a Google Sheet, fire a Zap on every new row, enrich and verify with Mailsfinder, then push only verified leads into a Lemlist campaign. Zero hand cleaning required.

paid

Stripe domain enrichment

When a new Stripe customer signs up, enrich the email domain with Mailsfinder to surface decision-makers, then ping the CSM inside Slack with the contact list so the welcome call lands with the right humans on the line.

FAQ

Questions Zapier builders ask before wiring up Mailsfinder

Does Mailsfinder have a native Zapier app? expand_more
Mailsfinder does not yet ship a native app in the Zapier directory. The current path is Webhooks by Zapier with a POST action, which takes about three minutes to set up and gives you the same response fields a native app would expose. A native Mailsfinder Zapier app is on the roadmap, and existing Webhooks setups will migrate cleanly when it lands.
How many Zapier tasks does a Mailsfinder lookup consume? expand_more
Each Webhooks by Zapier POST to Mailsfinder counts as one task. A typical 4-step Zap (Trigger, Mailsfinder Find, Mailsfinder Verify, Push to CRM) burns 4 tasks per lead. On Zapier's Professional plan at 2,000 tasks per month you can process roughly 500 leads end to end before Zapier itself starts throttling.
What rate limits should I plan for inside a Zap? expand_more
Mailsfinder allows 600 requests per minute on Monthly and Annual plans and 300 req/min on Lifetime. Zapier rarely pushes a single Zap past this ceiling because of its own per-Zap throttling, but if you fan out a bulk run with Looping by Zapier, add a 100 to 200 ms Delay step between iterations to stay safely inside the limit.
How does Mailsfinder handle errors inside a Zap? expand_more
Every Mailsfinder response carries a status field: verified, risky, invalid, or not_found. Use Zapier's Filter or Paths feature to route on that field. Not-found rows can branch to a fallback enrichment step or land in a separate sheet for SDR review, so a missed lookup never silently breaks the rest of the Zap.
Mailsfinder + Zapier versus Mailsfinder + Make or n8n, what is the cost difference? expand_more
Zapier is the easiest to set up and the most expensive at scale: a 4-step Zap on 2,000 leads costs roughly 8,000 tasks per month. Make.com runs the same flow for roughly one quarter of the cost per operation, and n8n self-hosted is effectively free after the server bill. Pick Zapier when speed of setup and 7,000 app coverage matter more than per-task cost.
How do I design a multi-step Zap with Mailsfinder without it failing midway? expand_more
Keep the Mailsfinder call as a single Webhooks step and immediately follow it with a Filter on the status field. Use Paths for verified, risky, and invalid branches rather than chaining long if-then-else logic inside Formatter steps. This pattern survives endpoint changes from any downstream vendor because each branch is isolated and Zapier replays only the failed path on retry.
Does Mailsfinder support GDPR-friendly processing for EU contact data in Zaps? expand_more
Mailsfinder only returns business email addresses sourced from public B2B data and runs SMTP verification without storing message content. EU data processed through Zaps stays inside the request and response cycle. Mailsfinder offers a DPA on request for teams that need contractual GDPR coverage on their Zapier workflows.
Can I top up credits if a Zap unexpectedly burns through my pool? expand_more
Yes. Credit packs stack on any plan: 10,000 for $5, 22,000 for $9, 42,000 for $14.99, 100,000 for $29, and 250,000 for $59. Packs never expire, so a runaway Zap or a one-off import spike does not break your monthly budget.
